Defenseless

A beloved queen is assassinated by a sorcerer for hire, and out of anger the king sends his two greatest knights to kill every sorcerer in the kingdom. The knights are shieldmaiden Jaya and her husband, master swordsman Destery. One day he doesn’t return from an outing and she begins to search for him. Jaya comes across a sorcerer in the form of a dragon, who upon seeing her begins to charge. She puts up her shield just in time, but the dragon headbutts her and she’s sent flying backwards. Focused on escaping the dragon, she backs away and falls down a narrow chasm into a deep cave. Now stuck in the cave, she’s forced to try to find her way out. After exploring she finds the mouth of the cave, but the sorcerer dragon blocks her path again and challenges her. Now convinced this could be the sorcerer who killed the queen, she accepts the challenge and attempts to kill the sorcerer. She weakens him until he’s forced to return to human form, and she finds that this is not a sorcerer, but her cursed husband! She must bring him down to his last bit of health and shatter his helmet to release the curse.

In this game,  I worked with a small group of 4 people, including me. A fellow friend and I made all the art assets in this game. I mostly focused on the main character's art, like the animations on her. I also made all the shields in the game and also the gems that are collectible. I had also made an old wizard in this game too.
